Mark Schulz, Head of Words

Before starting True & Good in 2011, Mark was the first Brand Experience Manager at O2, where he launched the mobile network's tone of voice and introduced the concept of brand voice to O2's parent company, Telefónica.

He stole the job title from a packet of crisps. Pret A Manger once had some on-pack copy that mentioned "Ian, Head of Crisps", and it made him smile. Head of Words felt like it lived the spirit of what True & Good does – encouraging organisations to communicate in a clear and human way. (If you search for the title on LinkedIn now, you'll find quite a few people using it.)

Mark leads every True & Good project, from initial audit through to final delivery.

Nicola Thatcher, Head of Operations

How we work

True & Good is a deliberately agile company: a small core team, supplemented by specialist associates for larger projects. Every brief gets senior-level attention.

We've worked with organisations of every size, from startups to global institutions – Bentley, the British Council, Boodles, Camden Town Brewery, the Financial Ombudsman Service, the Football Association, London 2012, NatWest, Pandora, Standard Chartered and many more.
